Blue balloon

On a beach on the edge of the blue sea

*

A little girl blue hat

in blue

and blue shoes

trotted under a blue sky

carrying a blue balloon

*

A little girl blue hat

in blue

and blue shoes

happily playing with a blue balloon

on a beach on the edge of the blue sea

*

A little girl blue hat

in blue

and blue shoes

accidental release blue balloons

flying into the blue sky

*

A little girl blue hat

in blue

and blue shoes

now mourn loss of blue balloons

flying into the blue sky

*

A little girl blue hat

in blue

and blue shoes

weeping blue balloons

calling a blue balloon

*

A little girl blue hat

in blue

and blue shoes

trotted under a blue sky

pursuit of a blue balloon

*

A little girl blue hat

in blue

and blue shoes

trotted under a blue sky

through the blue waves of the sea

*

A little girl blue hat

in blue

and blue shoes

through the blue waves of the sea

disappeared out of sight into the blue

*

A little girl blue hat

in blue

and blue shoes

balloon has now been separated into blue sky

disappeared out of sight into the blue

*

A little girl blue hat

in blue

and blue shoes

now flying into the blue sky

with blue balloon

*

A little girl blue hat

in blue

and blue shoes

her body is now swallowed the blue sea

shared sorrow is blue confuse

  1. Hallo. This poem, with its rhythmic progression, moves from its child-like beginning to such sorrow at the end, becoming a lament. Interesting use of simple concept to create a subvocal complexity. I like it. It relates on several levels.
